PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relief printing plate precursor excellent in rinsing property and engraving sensitivity; to provide a method for manufacturing the relief printing plate precursor; to provide a relief printing plate excellent in solvent ink suitability and printing durability; and to provide a method for manufacturing the relief printing plate.

SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the laser-engravable relief printing plate precursor includes: a layer-forming process to form a relief forming layer consisting of a laser-engravable resin compound containing isocyanate compound with an average isocyanato group number fn of greater than 2 (Content A) and a compound having siloxane bond in a molecule and also two or more active hydrogens (Content B); a crosslinking process to crosslink the relief forming layer by heat and obtain the relief printing plate precursor having the crosslinked relief forming layer.
