A moveable sinuous toy configured to glide sinuously during movement over a surface comprises a front drive unit 2 with rolling means, coupled to a longitudinal body formed by a plurality of hollow vertebra elements 4 with open ends and arranged one after another. Each vertebra element 4 is pivotally coupled to the immediately preceding vertebra element and immediately following vertebra element according to an axis of rotation (5, figure 9) perpendicular to the rolling plane, and being able to rotate with respect to the immediately preceding and immediately following elements. The area of the longitudinal section of each vertebra element increases from its front end to the rear. The pivotable coupling between the vertebra elements allows play in the longitudinal direction so that the longitudinal body adopts a compact position in which the rear portion of each vertebra element houses the front portion of the immediately following vertebra element. |
