PURPOSE: A control method of a horizontal-type multi-purpose boiler is provided to control the operation of a blower and an exhauster proportionally to water temperature and perform the conversion of a combustion mode. CONSTITUTION: A control method of a horizontal-type multi-purpose boiler is as follows. The real time water temperature measured by a temperature sensing unit(33) and a pre-set water temperature reference value is compared by a control unit(30) while burning firewood and a blower(39) and an exhauster(24) are controlled according to the result. The combustion state in a multi-purpose combustion chamber is detected by a flame sensing unit(35) for the control of the blower and the exhauster.
