<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable effective cooling of a hub around which recording tape is wound, even if the hub is arranged directly above a heat source such as a motor. <P>SOLUTION: A reel 10 includes: a hub 12 around which recording tape T is wound on an outer peripheral surface thereof; a reinforcement portion 18 integrally formed on an inner peripheral surface of the hub 12 so as to be coaxial to the hub 12; and a through-hole 42 provided radially at the reinforcement portion 18 for heat release. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
