A gas turbine combustor equipped with an outer tube (31), an inner tube (32) provided inside of this outer tube (31) and between the outer tube (31) and which an air passage (30) is formed, a pilot nozzle (35) provided in the central part of the inner tube (32) along the direction of the combustor shaft (S), and multiple main nozzles (36) provided on the inner circumferential surface of the inner tube (32) so as to surround the pilot nozzle (35) in the circumferential direction, with fuel being mixed in advance by means of the main nozzles (36) with respect to combustion air introduced into the air passage (30), and sprayed into the inert tube (32). This gas turbine combustor is further equipped with top hat nozzles (41), which are provided along the circumferential direction in the interior of the air passage (30), and which mix fuel with the combustion air before the combustion air reaches the main nozzles (36), and the locations where these top hat nozzles (41) spray the fuel differ in the combustor shaft (S) direction.
