<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radar device that increases a coherent integration gain of a target moving at a low speed while maintaining a coherent integration gain of a target moving at a high speed to improve accuracy of arrival direction estimation. <P>SOLUTION: A radar transmission unit converts a pulse compression code into a high-frequency transmission signal to transmit the high-frequency transmission signal from a transmission antenna. A radar reception unit includes: a plurality of antenna system processing sections for performing coherent integration of a correlation value between a reception signal and a transmission signal; "p"(integer) pieces of correlation matrix generation sections for generating correlation matrices based on each output of the plurality of antenna system processing sections; "p" (integer) pieces of addition sections for adding an output of at least one of the "p" pieces of correlation matrix generation sections; an output selection control section for selecting a correlation matrix generation section generating a correlation matrix that has a maximum coherent integration gain in each of the generated correlation matrices; and an output selection section for selecting one of each output of the "p" pieces of addition sections according to the correlation matrix generation section selected by the output selection control section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
