PURPOSE: A valve protector is provided to prevent safety accidents by installing a protector in an actuating shaft of a flow control valve. CONSTITUTION: A valve protector comprises a flow control valve, a coupling part(20), a connecting part(30), and a cap part(40). The flow control valve comprises a valve body, an actuating shaft(12), and a nut(14). The valve body has an opening and closing portion to control flow rate. A fastening groove(21) is formed in one side of the coupling part to be forcibly fitted in the nut. A fitting groove(22) is formed in the other side of the coupling part. A coupling hole(23) is formed in the center of the fitting groove. The connecting part is placed on the fitting groove and is formed as a transparent or semitransparent body to check the position of the actuating shaft. The cap part is inserted in the top inner side of the connecting part.
