Disclosed are a mobile phone and a data processing method therefor. The method comprises the following steps: reading the identification of a secondary subscriber identity module (SIM) card, judging whether or not the secondary SIM card is locked; if yes, then judging, on the basis of a subscriber selection, whether or not to duplicate data within the secondary SIM card; if the subscriber selects to duplicate the data within the secondary SIM card, then duplicating the data within the secondary SIM card to the mobile phone, or to a primary SIM card of the mobile phone, or to the mobile phone and the primary SIM card thereof. The present invention allows the duplication of data such as phonebook on the secondary SIM card onto the mobile phone or onto the primary SIM card of the mobile phone, thus solving the problem of the subscriber not being able to place a call or send a short message via the phonebook of the secondary SIM card when the secondary SIM card is locked. This provides the subscriber with great usage convenience and facilitates the promotion of services for mobile operators. |
