<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feed arm type sewing machine capable of preventing an oil leakage from a head while reducing costs by simplifying an outer wall structure of the head. <P>SOLUTION: A feed arm type sewing machine comprises a guide shaft for a spreader 21a, a guide shaft for a movable knife 21b and a presser shaft 15 and these three shafts are configured to be a triple-axis structure in which the guide shaft for the spreader 21a is inserted into the presser shaft 15, and the guide shaft for the movable knife 21b is inserted into the guide shaft for the spreader 21a from its outer circumference. The guide shaft for the movable knife 21b is connected to a connecting rod for the movable knife 28b. The connecting rod 28b is connected to one end part of a swing shaft 6 in a bed 2. The end part is supported by a first boss 2b. The guide shaft for the spreader 28a is connected to a connecting rod for the spreader 28a, which is connected to an eccentric part for the spreader of an arm shaft 4.
