<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine a cooking state without any influence of the temperature at the start of temperature detection to operate a cooking range hood by an optimized volume of air. <P>SOLUTION: The cooking range hood includes: an infrared sensor 31 for detecting an average temperature from the temperature of the food being cooked and the ambient temperature of the food being cooked on an upper surface of a cooker 20; a temperature sensor 32 for detecting the ambient temperature of the cooker 20; a signal reception part 15 for receiving a cooker signal from the cooker 20; and an air volume control part 16 for altering the volume of air from a fan 11. In the air volume control part 16, the temperature of the food being cooked is calculated from the average temperature detected by the infrared sensor 31 using the ambient temperature detected by the temperature sensor 32 as the ambient temperature of the food being cooked, and the volume of air from the fan 11 is determined using the calculated temperature of the food being cooked and the cooker signal received by the signal reception part 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
