<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolyte capable of achieving a sufficiently high ion diffusion speed while suppressing leakage and volatilization of the electrolyte which may cause degradation of functions of a dye-sensitized solar cell, and to provide a dye-sensitized solar cell having high photoelectric conversion efficiency and durability. <P>SOLUTION: The electrolyte contains at least oxidation-reduction ion pairs, a mixed solvent and a gelling agent. The mixed solvent is obtained by mixing a solvent A in which the solubility of the gelling agent at 60 to 120°C is less than 0.5 mass% and a solvent B in which the solubility of the gelling agent at 60 to 120°C is 0.5 mass% and more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
