<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substance which is obtained by homogeneously mixing stone material, cement, porous diatomaceous earth, zeolite, suitable adhesive materials and fiber waste and which provides a structure excellent in compressive strength, bending strength, water permeability and transmissibility and which has functions of asbestos and yet is free from hygienic problems, and is therefore used as an alternative material of asbestos, whereas the asbestos used recently for reinforcing building members such as wall materials, partitioning materials or reinforcing materials of steel frames, is recognized to be harmful to health and hygiene and is prohibited at present from being used and produced. <P>SOLUTION: Diatomaceous earth and zeolite each of which has equal functional properties, are mixed with each other and the obtained mixture is compacted and hardened so that the obtained hardened product can be used as a building material having the characteristics equal to those of asbestos. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
