<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device capable of generating a display image reaching a high degree of perfection by executing software for an old device even when the GPU of a new device uses a different drawing method from the GPU of the old device. <P>SOLUTION: A normal mode is a processing mode for executing processing based on first architecture for an information processing method, and a compatible mode is a processing mode for executing processing based on second architecture for another information processing method. In the normal mode, first result data obtained by executing the processing based on the first architecture is input to output means for outputting the input data to a user.
