<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting exposure to a synthetic resin raw material monomer or a synthetic resin precursor, in which a family of antibodies specific for denatured serum protein due to the synthetic resin raw material monomer or a synthetic resin precursor oligomer can be detected comprehensively and semi-quantitatively. <P>SOLUTION: The method for detecting exposure to the synthetic resin raw material monomer or the synthetic resin precursor includes: (a) a step in which the synthetic resin raw material monomer or the synthetic resin precursor having two or more reactive groups capable of being bonded to a functional group on protein, is brought into contact with serum protein and both are reacted with each other, thereby producing a diagnostic antigen; and (b) a step in which a serum sample collected from a subject is brought into contact with the diagnostic antigen and the coupling amount of the antibody specific for the diagnostic antigen to the diagnostic antigen is determined. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
