<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking support system lowering a load on a driver with a relatively inexpensive structure. <P>SOLUTION: A control part in a transmitting/receiving part 2 for positional recognition, which is installed in a parking lot 1, recognizes one of the signal strengths (first to third signal strengths) when receiving signals L1D, L1A and L1B for distance recognition, and transmits an answer signal A1x for positional recognition containing signal strength information indicating one of the first to third signal strengths. A parking support control part in the vehicle 50 recognizes three distances from vehicle exterior LF antennas 51D, 51A, and 51B to the transmitting/receiving part 2 for positional recognition from the signal strength information contained in the answer signal A1x for positional recognition, and recognizes the vehicle position which is a position of the vehicle 50 with respect to the present parking lot 1 based on three distances recognized, vehicle information, and the parking lot information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
