<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a deviation in a number of contents among groups when classifying a large number of contents into a plurality of groups on the basis of a feature amount represented as an index. <P>SOLUTION: A content classification device for grouping a plurality of contents into a predetermined number of groups comprises a group creation section that obtains a feature amount represented as an index for each content to be classified, calculates a representative value of feature amounts for each group on the basis of the feature amounts of contents belonging to the group, when the plurality of contents are grouped into a larger number of groups than the predetermined number of groups, and performs combining process of combining groups having adjacent representative values into one group.
