<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for easily synthesizing spherical or nonspherical mono-disperse polymer particles without using a polymerization operation. <P>SOLUTION: The method for the synthesis of spherical or nonspherical polymer particles includes dissolution of a water-insoluble polymer in a water-soluble organic solvent to prepare a polymer solution, dispersion of the polymer solution in an aqueous solution to form liquid droplets, and dissolution of the water-soluble organic solvent in the liquid droplets into the aqueous solution to form polymer particles. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
