<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk device capable of improving cooling performance of equipment and components in the device, without actively introducing outside air into the device. <P>SOLUTION: A disk device 10 comprises: a housing 11; a disk arrangement part 13 which is provided in the housing 11 and includes a disk arrangement surface 13a; a bottom plate 30 provided on a bottom surface of the housing 11; a base plate 24 provided below the disk arrangement part 13; a disk D to be placed on the disk arrangement surface 13a in the disk arrangement part 13; and a disk driving part 22 for rotating the disk D. The disk device 10 also comprises an air introduction part 14 for introducing air into between the bottom plate 30 and the base plate 24, making use of wind pressure outside in a diameter direction of the disk D, generated by the rotation of the disk D. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
