<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem, in a loss in weight feeder that detects weight with a load cell, calculates a weight decrease for each sampling time, and increases/decreases speed of a conveyance discharging device by comparing with a set value, that weight of the total device is heavier compared with the maximum weight of a feeding object and thus a load cell having a large maximum load weight is used causing degradation of the control accuracy or a need to use an expensive load cell having a good resolution. <P>SOLUTION: A motor and driving device are separated from a conveyance discharging device and attached to a common base. Transmission means such as a magnetic coupling where its driving force as a load is not exerted to the load cell is used to change the load cell with that of smaller maximum load. By using a counter balance, the weight of the device is cancelled, and the load cell of smaller maximum load to that extent is used. Thus, a larger variation range ratio of the feeding object in a measurement range of the load cell can be obtained to increase control accuracy. An inexpensive load cell of a lower accuracy is used or a small and inexpensive load cell of smaller maximum load is used to lower cost. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
