<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray detection signal processing apparatus and method in which a signal having a wave height accurately corresponding to energy of X-rays incident to an X-ray detector can be outputted with a high S/N ratio in simple configuration and adjustment. <P>SOLUTION: A signal from a preamplifier is subjected to fast A/D conversion in a fast A/D converter 1 and then subjected, in a digital signal processing unit 2, digital-based processing for eliminating influences caused by a component which is attenuated by a differentiation time constant in the preamplifier. In an event detection section 3 within the digital signal processing unit 2, the signal from the fast A/D converter 1 is smoothed over a predetermined shaping time using a filter function for fast shaping, the timing in which the smoothed signal becomes a maximum value over a predetermined threshold value is detected as event information, and the event information is added to the signal form the fast A/D converter 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
