SECONDARY BATTERY CHARGE DEVICE, SECONDARY BATTERY CHARGE SYSTEM, AND SECONDARY BATTERY CHARGE METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery charge system capable of full charging a secondary battery, and detecting power generation capacity without causing energy loss even the power generation capacity is deteriorated with reduced charging current when using a power generator employing natural energy without changing the secondary battery.

SOLUTION: A secondary battery charge system of the present invention includes: a power generator; and a secondary battery charge device that controls charging of a secondary battery with a charging current from the power generator. The secondary battery charge device includes: a charge switch for controlling the charging current from the power generator so that the charging current is supplied or not supplied to the secondary battery; a charge voltage determination part for measuring the output voltage of the power generator; a dummy load part having a dummy load and a connection switch serially connected between the output terminal of the power generator and a reference potential; and a charge control part for switching on or off the charge switch and the connection switch. When the charge switch is turned off and the output voltage exceeds a chargeable voltage, the charge control part switches off the connection switch and switches on the charge switch.
