PURPOSE: A shock absorbing device is provided to prevent damage to a streetlamp pole and a vehicle by installing shock absorbers on the inner side of a safety sign plate. CONSTITUTION: A shock absorbing device comprises shock absorbers(50), a safety sign plate(20), and steel bands(30). The shock absorbers are formed in a semi-cylindrical shape and surround the outer surface of a streetlamp pole(10). The safety sign plate is attached to the outer surface of the shock absorbers and has reflectors(21), holes(22), and protrusions. The steel bands are inserted into the holes of the safety sign plate.
