<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems in which in order to achieve a display panel module assembly apparatus capable of simultaneously processing three sides to be processed instead of conventional processing to be performed in each side, (1) high-speed replacement between unprocessed display panel board and a processed display panel board, (2) miniaturization and simplification of display panel conveyance means between processors, and (3) maintenance security, etc. should be required. <P>SOLUTION: Carry-in means for carrying a substrate into a processing position has a projected configuration integral with a three-side simultaneous processing unit. Carry-out means for carrying out a processed substrate is configured so as to directly carry out the processed substrate and deliver the processed substrate to conveyance carry-in means of a downstream processor and arranged in a recessed area between adjacent projected processors. Further, the carry-in means holds the substrate from below and the carry-out means holds the substrate from above to thereby simultaneously perform substrate replacement. The carry-out means includes an intermediate placing board to shorten the carry distance of once and shorten the carry time.
