The invention relates to a machine for exposing panels that are to be insulated. Said machine is useful in all methods for transferring images between a slide and a panel. Said machine is mainly of use in the fields of printed circuits and microprocessors but also in the field of LCD screens or that of chemical cutting of parts for microengineering. Said machine mainly includes: a mounting (2) for the panel to be insulated, said mounting being provided with a panel (3) and a slide (5, 5') to be transferred; and a light-emitting diode substrate (10, 10') that can move within an area facing the mounting (2) for the panel to be insulated. The diode substrate (10, 10') is larger than the panel (3) to be insulated, thus leading to a reduced insulating path.
