<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating apparatus capable of preventing the sagging of a coating liquid from a coating head and the clogging of the coating head due to the drying or the solidification of the coating liquid without sticking the coating liquid to the surface of a backup roller and being free from the occurrence of slack or deviation of a sheet-like base material to be conveyed. <P>SOLUTION: The coating device provided with the backup roller 2 and the coating head 4 is configured to be provided with a sealing tool 10 having a resin layer 23 positioned between the coating head and the backup roller when coating is not carried out and abutted to a coating liquid supply port 3 to tightly close the coating liquid supply port when at least one of the coating head and the backup roller is energized toward another one and buffer layers (a first and a second buffer layer 21, 22) interposed between the resin layer and the backup roller to relax the stress applied on the backup roller by the elastic deformation when at least one of the coating head and the backup roller is energized toward another one. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
