<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for rationally eliminating deposits easily and surely eliminate deposits adhered to a wastewater immersing member immersed in wastewater in the apparatus for treating wastewater. <P>SOLUTION: In the wastewater treating vessel 1, a phosphorus removing apparatus 60 for removing phosphorus components in the wastewater treating vessel is installed in a carrier-fluidized biological filtering vessel 30. Metal electrodes 62 of the phosphorus removing apparatus 60 is composed to be supported with a support member 80, while being immersed in wastewater in the carrier-fluidized biological filtering vessel 30. That is to say, a pair of metal electrodes 62 cross over the support part 81a of a support member 80 by their insertion into a pair of slit parts 82, and are placed on the support parts 81a together with electrode supporting jigs 61.
