FIELD: physics. ^ SUBSTANCE: streetlight, having a lamp unit, a top part having a main socket for supplying power to the lamp unit and a support for supporting the top part, is provided with a cover which is used as a housing, having a main base for fitting into the main socket, which is made on one side of the cover, and a cavity formed on its inner part. On the other side of the cover, there is a set of distribution sockets for electrical connection to the main base in which xenon lamps are fitted. In the cavity of the cover, there are ballasts for receiving voltage from the main base and applying trigger voltage to the main socket and a switching area for supplying power to the ballast through the main base or cutting off power supply, a detection area for determining the operating state of an operating xenon lamp and a controller which is electrically connected to the switching area. The controller is meant to control the switching area so as to immediately switch on another xenon lamp when a fault signal of the operating xenon lamp is transmitted from the detection area to the controller. ^ EFFECT: higher illumination brightness with low power consumption and easier replacement of lamps. ^ 3 cl, 8 dwg |
