<p>PURPOSE: A liquid sensor is provided to detect the existence of liquid on a spot with a realistic method. CONSTITUTION: A liquid sensor(1) comprises a probe(3), a casing, an opening(4a), an inlet port(5a), and a discharge port(5b). The probe detects the existence of contact liquid. The opening accommodates the liquid in the casing and is arranged to detect the existence of the liquid through the contact of the probe and the liquid in the casing. Test liquid is put into the casing through the inlet port in order to contact with the probe. If the probe correctly runs, the existence of the test liquid is detected by contacting the probe and the test liquid in the casing. In case of the opposite, any detection is not implemented. The discharge port discharges at least some of the test liquid from the casing after the test liquid and the probe contact.</p> |
