<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive, compact waterproof connector with excellent assemblability, storing performance, and waterproofness. <P>SOLUTION: Provided is a waterproof connector to make cable connection. The connector comprises: a housing having a cylindrical part for attaching a cable with a terminal crimped thereto; a waterproof bush; and a cover member. The cylindrical part provided on the housing has, on its outer periphery, a bush fitting part to which an inner periphery on the bush front end side is elastically fitted. The inner periphery on the bush rear end side is elastically fitted to an outer periphery of the cable. The cover member is a cylindrical body which covers an outer periphery of the bush. The rear end of the cylindrical body has an insertion hole for the cable, and a latching part to be latched onto the surface of a covered portion of the cable. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
