<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce electric power consumption in a state of turning on an ignition, in an electronic control system for a vehicle having electronic control units for controlling a predetermined transmission function. <P>SOLUTION: This electronic control system 1 for the vehicle includes the electronic control units 3A and 5A for controlling the predetermined electric equipment function, and includes a driving means 8A connected to the electronic control unit 5A and performing the electric equipment function, and a trigger means 9 connected to the electronic control unit and outputting a switching signal for switching the driving start and stop of the driving means to the electronic control unit.
