<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical receiver capable of applying a reverse bias with high voltage to a photoelectric transducer effectively. <P>SOLUTION: The optical receiver comprises a high voltage generation circuit; a photoelectric transducer; a current mirror circuit; and a voltage conversion circuit. The photoelectric transducer receives an output voltage of the high voltage generation circuit as a reverse bias voltage. The current mirror circuit is electrically connected to the photoelectric transducer. The current mirror circuit generates a mirror current of a photo current generated from the photoelectric transducer. The voltage conversion circuit is electrically connected to the current mirror circuit. The voltage conversion circuit receives the mirror current to generate a voltage corresponding to the mirror current. The high voltage generation circuit comprises an error amplifier having an input terminal in which the voltage generated by the voltage conversion circuit is fedback thereto.
