<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable toilet bowl with which a user seated on a toilet seat is allowed to receive care or the like from his/her back side through a backrest opening. <P>SOLUTION: The portable toilet bowl includes a toilet bowl shell 3, a toilet seat lid 5 for covering a toilet seat 4 disposed on the toilet bowl shell 3, and a backrest 7 raised at the rear end of the toilet bowl shell 3. The backrest 7 is formed with a backrest opening 58 penetrating the backrest back and forth. The toilet seat lid 5 is connected to the rear end of the toilet bowl shell 3 in a manner to turn about right and left shafts, and when the toilet seat lid is turned from a closing position at which the toilet seat lid covers the toilet seat 4 to a retreating position at which the toilet seat lid tilts backward through a standing position, the toilet seat lid passes through the backrest opening 58. The toilet seat lid 5 is formed with a locked portion. The backrest 7 is formed with a locking portion 59 to which the locked portion of the toilet seat lid 5 located at the standing position is locked.
