An advection-type fan includes a frame, an impeller and a cover plate. The frame has a bottom plate mounted with a shaft seat. The bottom plate has a lateral wall on a periphery thereof that surrounds the shaft seat. The lateral wall has an air-guiding portion, a partitioning portion and an air-separating portion. An air inlet is formed between the air-guiding portion and the partitioning portion, and an air outlet is formed between the air-guiding portion and the air-separating portion. The partitioning portion comprises a first end defining the air inlet and a second end extending towards the air outlet. The air-separating portion is arranged on the second end of the partitioning portion. The impeller is rotatably mounted on the shaft seat. The cover plate is disposed on a top of the lateral wall of the frame. |
