PURPOSE: An infrared sensor is provided to enable to transmit a large amount of heat with a little loss because heat transmission is facilitated. CONSTITUTION: An infrared sensor(1) comprises an infrared lens, an infrared probe, a processing and control circuit, a heat radiation device, a first heat pipe, and a second heat pipe. The processing and control circuit is connected to the infrared probe. The processing and control circuit is arrayed to provide output image signals. The heat radiation device disperses exceeded heat from the infrared sensor. The first heat pipe thermally connects the heat radiation device to the processing and control circuit. The second heat pipe thermally connects the infrared lens to the processing and control circuit.
