The slide cam system (1) has a drive shaft (2) and cam assembly (3) that is displaced in axial direction of the drive shaft. The cam assembly has multiple cams. A locking device is provided for locking the cam assembly and the drive shaft in different displacement positions of the cam assembly. A bearing (5) is formed as a linear roller bearing (10) for slidably bearing of the cam assembly in the axial direction of the drive shaft.
