<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an obstacle detecting device that not only enables the general surface state to be detected but in particular the surface state of a beam emitting face disposed between an obstacle and a laser to be detected on a real-time basis and radiates a laser beam matching that particular surface state. <P>SOLUTION: An obstacle detecting device comprises a laser beam source 2, a laser driver 3, a beam deflecting element 4 that deflects laser beams radiated from the laser beam source 2, a voltage controller 5, a beam emitting face 9, a beam receiving face 10, a detector 7, a control unit 6, reflective mirrors 11, 12 and 13 whose reflections come incident on the beam emitting face 9 obliquely so as to measure the surface state of the beam emitting face 9 by utilizing laser beams at some of the deflection angles of the beam deflecting element 4, and a detector 8 that receives laser beams reflected by the beam emitting face 9. The control unit 6 outputs laser beams for front detection that are transmitted by the beam emitting face 9 after having measured the surface state of the beam emitting face 9 with voltage control by the voltage controller 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
