<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image conversion device capable of outputting natural motion images when it converts interlace images of 60 fields/second generated by a 3-2 pull-down conversion to progressive images of 30 frames/second and distributes the converted data. <P>SOLUTION: In input image data with 4:2:2:2 form, four fields generated from one original image, two fields generated from an original image next to the first one, other two fields generated from an original image next to the second one, and other two fields generated from an original image next to the third one appear periodically in this order. The image conversion device converts such input image data in 4:2:2:2 form to image data of 60 frames/second in 3:2 pull-down form and outputs the converted data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
