SOLENOID VALVE FOR BRAKE SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A solenoid valve for a brake system is provided to secure the response property and control linearity of the solenoid valve, and reduce the clearance between an armature and a seat housing. CONSTITUTION: A solenoid valve(100) for a brake system comprises a seat housing(110), a valve seat(120), a sleeve(130), a magnetic core(140), and an armature(150). The seat housing is installed in the bore(104) of a modulator block(101) and comprises a longitudinal through hole(114). The valve seat is fixed in the through hole and comprises an orifice(122). The sleeve is coupled to cover the upper exterior of the seat housing. The magnetic core seals the upper portion of the sleeve. The armature opens/closes the orifice in the valve seat. The armature is composed of an upper body(151) and a lower body(155). The upper body is moved back and forth in the sleeve. The lower body is inserted and moved back and forth in the through hole of the seat housing.
