<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire sensor unit that properly corrects the value detected by an infrared temperature sensor and to provide a tire condition monitoring system. <P>SOLUTION: The tire sensor unit 3 mounted to a wheel of a vehicle includes: a first temperature sensor 12 comprising the infrared temperature sensor for detecting the temperature of a tire surface; a second temperature sensor 13 for detecting the temperature in the tire; and a pressure sensor 11 for detecting the pressure in the tire. A sensor unit controller 14 acquires correction quantity for correcting the detected value of the first temperature sensor on the basis of the detected value of the first temperature sensor and that of the second temperature sensor if: the pressure detected by a pressure sensor is a predetermined value or more; and the correction execution condition that the temperature detected by the second temperature sensor is constant is satisfied. The sensor unit controller corrects the detected value of the first temperature sensor by using the corrected value to determine the temperature of the surface of the tire on the basis of the detected value acquired after the correction thereof is carried out. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
