Provided is a pharmaceutical composition which comprises a cellulose derivative and a drug having poor water solubility, and which exhibits improved compliance. Specifically provided is a pharmaceutical composition that is a jelly-like suspension in which the drug having poor water solubility is a polystyrene sulfonate ion-exchange resin, and the cellulose derivative consists of one or more substances selected from hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, hydroxypropylcellulose, and methylcellulose.
