<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agglomerated zeolitic absorbent having an excellent adsorption capacity. <P>SOLUTION: The agglomerated zeolitic absorbent is based on zeolite X having the Si/Al ratio of 1.15<Si/Al≤1.5 and a clay mineral-based binder as main component. An agglomerate of the zeolite X with the clay mineral-based binder is treated with an alkali, so that the clay mineral-based binder is zeolitized partially and at least 90% of the exchangeable cation sites of the zeolite X are exchanged with only barium ions or both of barium ions and potassium ions to obtain the agglomerated zeolitic absorbent having ≥0.240 cm<SP POS="POST">3</SP>/g Dubinin pore volume. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
