The leg (1) has a piston rod (22) provided with a fluid duct for fluid communication of chambers (21, 24). The fluid duct is provided with a transition surface in a transition region between a contact surface with a sealing device in which the fluid communication is interrupted, and an adjacent surface in which the fluid communication is released. The contact surface formed along an inner perimeter line of the sealing device and the transition surface is varied during relative movement between the sealing device and the transition surface without a jump function.
