<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for identifying a user device in an evolution network, and a mobility management entity. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes the steps of: receiving temporary mobile subscriber identification information on a system architecture evolution network (SAE) system, which is allocated to a user device for accessing the evolution network and which includes at least a pool ID, a mobility management entity ID, and a user device temporary ID; and using the temporary mobile subscriber identification information on the SAE system to temporarily identify the user device in the evolution network. The apparatus includes a receiving unit and a temporary identifying unit.
