<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce resonance characteristics of pipe bodies of various shapes by means of a branch pipe that is a combination of simple-shaped pipe bodies. <P>SOLUTION: A wind instrument 1 has a main pipe 10, and a first auxiliary pipe 21 and a second auxiliary pipe 22 with their internal spaces connected via two or more connection parts, and comprises a branch pipe for allowing gas flowing into the main pipe 10 to branch and flow into the first auxiliary pipe 21 and the second auxiliary pipe 22 at connection parts, and a pitch adjusting part 41 for adjusting a length of a resonating air column with openings in portions of the first auxiliary pipe 21 and the second auxiliary pipe 22 to produce sound at any pitch in a predetermined scale. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
