<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling system for an electronic apparatus, which is capable of efficiently performing cooling at a low running cost concerning the electronic apparatus such as a computer and a server, where a precise operation is required and also a heat release value from the apparatus itself is large. <P>SOLUTION: A cooling system for an electronic apparatus includes: an evaporator for cooling the electronic apparatus by a secondary refrigerant; a cooling tower for cooling and condensing the secondary refrigerant by external air; a heat exchanger for performing heat exchange between primary refrigerant and the secondary refrigerant; a first circulation line connected to allow the secondary refrigerant to naturally circulate between the evaporator and the cooling tower; a second circulation line connected to allow the secondary refrigerant to circulate between the evaporator and the heat exchanger; changeover means for changing over the first circulation line and the second circulation line; control means for controlling the changeover means; and an external air sensor. The control means performs the opening/closing operation of the changeover means, based on the measurement result of the external air sensor and the refrigerant flow rate of the secondary refrigerant. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
