The method involves applying liquid droplets on a surface of a bendable or flexible and/or deformable digitally controlled substrate (16) for formation of geometric dimension of a conductive functional layer (10). The conductive functional layer is enclosed from a pressure chamber, which is formed by a resilient covering layer. Edge areas of the pressure chamber are in fixed connection with the substrate, where volume of the functional layer in the pressure chamber on the substrate remains constant.
