A process for the preparation of double caesium-cobalt (II) orthophosphate, comprising the use of melt of mechanical mixture of polycrystalline substances, besides the mechanical mixture of CsPO(with corresponding mole ratio for proportion achievement of 1.0 mole of CsO – 1.0 mole of PO), is ground in agate mortar to homogeneous state. The produced mechanical mixture is baked in platinum crucible for 1 hour at the temperature of 850 °C, the melt is saturated at mixing with caesium fluoride CsF (2 h) and hold at temperature of 850 °C for 1 hour, then it is saturated with cobalt (II) oxide (2.5 h), hold for 2 hours at temperature of 900 °C, and the melt is mixed and crystallized by decreasing of temperature from 900 °C to 700 °C for 24 hours, the produced monocrystals of double orthophosphate CsCoPOis washed and dried at room temperature. |
