PURPOSE:To make the drawing of steel materials easier by forming a water- swelling film having a low frictional resistance on the surface of a steel material positioned under the ground. CONSTITUTION:The work consists of a steel material 1, a water-swelling film 4, a bentonite mortar 6, and an excavated pit 7. In setting the material 1 into the ground 8, a volatile film-forming resin 2 and a high-water absorptive resin 3 are coated on the surface of the material 1 and naturally dried to form a water-swelling film 4. The steel material 1 is penetrated into an excavated pit 7 filled with bentonite mortar 6 in such a way as to cause water in the mortar 6 to absorb into the resin 3 in the film 4 in order to form the film 4. The steel material 1 is then drawn out by crane, etc. The efficiency of execution can thus be raised.
