Device for connecting pipeline sections, especially exhaust gas pipe systems, comprises a connecting component (1) having two coaxial connections (2, 3) and an angled branched connection (4). At least one of the coaxial connections is closed by a lid (5). A flow-guiding element (6) inserted in the connection closed by the lid deviates the flow between the two remaining connections. The flow-guiding element and the connection closed by the lid have complementary guides defining the angle position of the flow-guiding element within the connection. Preferred Features: The connecting component, lid and/or flow-guiding element are made of plastic molded parts. The flow-guiding element has a wedge-shaped protrusion (7), and the connection closed by the lid is provided with a complementary groove.
