FIELD: physics. ^ SUBSTANCE: testing pipeline sections for strength and air-tightness is carried out using a mobile compressor station with controlled mass output, which connected to the section through a pipe. According to the invention, before each increase in output of the station, temperature and pressure of gas in the pipeline is measured. Gas pressure in the pipeline is then calculated and if the measured pressure is higher than the calculated pressure, output is increased. ^ EFFECT: shorter time and easier testing of a pipeline section, which enables to cut costs for its construction, reconstruction and repair. ^ 1 dwg |
